History of St. Nicholas Church
The building that is currently in use was built in 1962 by Chief Mike Alex of Eklutna to take the place of the old St. Nicholas Church which stands directly across from it. The story goes that Chief Mike Alex was sick, so the Bishop came to visit him. The Bishop then told Chief Alex to get well and build a church. He took him literally, got well, and built the new St. Nicholas Church building.
The schedule of services is up to date, though this website is still a work in progress.
